Summer Internship 2019
The summer before my senior year, I completed an 8 week account management internship experience in Washington, D.C. with the ad agency, MDB Communications. While there, I had the opportunity to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. I received vast training and further understanding as to how a successful ad agency works and runs.

Clients included: Roy Rogers Restaurants, Chevy Chase Trust, DC Lottery
As MDB’s newest client, we worked hard to further improve the brand and find new ways to make the restaurant appealing to new customers. I assisted in target market research, menu development, merchandise development, employee uniform updates, online store opportunities, and creative requests. I also was responsible for running their social media pages and wrote the copy for their posts from July-November.

I gained unique experience at my internship working with a client run by the government of Washington, D.C.. Work & experiences included: drafting and writing creative requests for the creative team, radio and TV spot production, opening job requests, campaigns, estimates, and purchase orders, preparing MDB’s team members for client meetings and listening in on calls with the client, event production, and sports betting research.
